Day 1 - Day 2 Marrakech airport

You will be picked up at the airport by a driver (English) and transferred to your riad. We offer several riads in the medina, selected according to availability. There, you stay 2 nights and have the opportunity to discover the old town. The riad serves an excellent breakfast and the rest of the meals are self-organized. The Riad will explain how to get around in the city.

Day 3 Marrakesh - Tizi-n-Tichka - Berber mountain - Taourirt -Ouarzazate

After breakfast, a driver will pick you up in the air-conditioned SUV. First, you will cross the picturesque High Atlas with the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass at 2,260m, with photo stops as often as you like. You can enjoy the scenery and pass through Berber huts built of stone and clay on steep slopes. Goats and sheep are driven into meadows that bloom in spring, mountain streams roar. Lunch can be held in Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate or in the historic Ksar Tamnougalt, a centuries-old Kasbah village on the edge of the Drava palm oasis. The caravan town of Zagora is partly accessible on a slope beyond the Draa. Spend the night in a romantic riad in the shady palm grove in a double room with bathroom, dinner and breakfast.

Day 4 Sahara desert - Erg Chegaga

After a quiet breakfast we continue to Tamegroute with its famous Koranic library. You have the opportunity to visit them and also to take a tour of the underground Kasbah. Tamegroute is also known for its green enamelled ceramics, potters that you can watch at work and where you can buy products on request.

At lunchtime you will arrive at Mhamid, the gateway to the vast desert. The lunch break is held in the Kasbah Sahara, where you can then cool off in the pool. Then you leave with your SUV. On the adventurous course, you will learn about the different forms of the Sahara and will even meet nomads at the well. At sunset, you will reach the vast Erg Chegaga Dune, the largest group of sand dunes in the region, reaching a height of 300 m and a width of 40 km. There, the camels wait for a walk in the evening sky, a small foretaste of trekking on camels in the Sahara. The comfort bivouac offers you the convenience. They have their own bath tent with chemical toilet and electric light. And often, there is still drum music for the evening campfire.

Day 5 Ait benhaddou

After breakfast in the desert, we will go to the track above the legendary Lake Iriki, which will be filled with water only after the rare heavy rains, then we will offer an oasis to many rare birds. But most of the year, it's a white salt surface at the table where you can run at the speed of the road. In the distance, you can see the magic Zaouia Sidi-Abd-en-Nebi, whose inhabitants have the "evil eye" and through which none of the local drivers would have volunteered. At Foum, Zguid takes the paved road, it crosses the Anti-Atlas. A detour will take you to the historic Ait Benhaddou. Ksar, which has already been used in many films, is on the list of sites worthy of protection by UNESCO and has been carefully restored.

Day 6 Marrakech

We return to Marrakech in the morning. Accommodation according to the chosen circuit in the riad of the medina or in a hotel in the new city.
